Ok, on to the first of many...

Question: Are the Accredited Colleges offering a Self-Paced, Accelerated Study?

I have been searching for an accredited college that can give me my courses in a self-paced, accelerated manner. What I am definately not looking for is: What the University of Phoenix seems to offer for online "accelerated courses", they don't offer self-paced, for example: English 101 takes at least 5-6 weeks to complete. I've completed a special pilots program in High School, Also completed 3 years of High School at around 9 months-exact same classes, same tests as what everyone else was taking. All that I would really want is to get into something similar in format for college.

Answer: Well, typically you can earn your credit for the first 2 years of almost any 4 year program in the good ole US by using what they call the CLEP program. This is a nation-wide program that provides tests of all the knowledge taught in Freshman/Sophomore general studies. Anyway, you will have to purchase your own books, and studying is all you...

You should be able to find exactly what you will need "as far as text books are concerned" at your local College bookstore. Getting back to CLEP they should be able to guide & help you in finding an university that will be a perfect fit for you. Now, don't freak-out... Often times the school you will be attending, will require that you take at least a few courses from them... Only because the school name will appear on all your transripts, along with "credit by examination" instead of your grade. Also go ahead and type in CLEP into google to find out more about this program I'm sure you will find tons of articles on it...

Well, I hope this answers some of your great question. Have a Great Day!! :-)

123 College Degree- Shows you How in Six Months?

Well, at least that what they say... And I believe they can do it!

It was annouced today that the big launch of a website designed to help students earn their college degree quickly, including instructions for how to follow their noted bachelor's degree.

Now, as for me I'm just going to sit back and see how all this unfolds... Maybe do a little bit more research, and I recommend you do the same... I just wanted to give you guys the heads up and let you know whats coming down the pipe!

I will report back as soon as I have a bit more of a grasp of what this program can do. And if it's worth checking out. If you would like to check for yourself I'm sure you can just google it and get some feedback on it. But one thing that I have learned through watching some of these programs is that you have to investigate what you are getting into. Definatly, one thing you want to make sure is " How there refund system works" if it's something you will get back if the program just isn't for you.

So, I'll look into this more for you guy's and see if I can speak to people who are actually taking this course and get their feed back.... Talk to you soon!
